• The o nature of TPE may benefit the look and feel, but it can be problematic for stains (be careful with new/dark clothes) and extra care needs to be taken in sterilising the dolls.
  

Silicone:

• Silicone is a very versatile and high-quality material, it is widely known for its use in cosmetic implants, predominantly for its life-like looks and feel. 
• Silicone has been used in both the medical industry and in product manufacturing for decades. The techniques used in production are very advanced.  
  
• Silicone can be made to look and feel super realistic.
  
• Silicone is a strong material, keeps its shape and can withstand weight.
  
• Silicone is non-porous, stain resistant and easily sterilised.
  
• The non-porous texture means it has a ‘smooth’ feel to it that can be cleaned easily.
  
• Silicone is more expensive than TPE. 
  
• Although smoother, silicone is generally harder to the touch and less flexible than TPE.

There are pros and cons for both types of doll and similarities to both. For example; they are both hypoallergenic, both retain heat well, they can both be bathed or showered for heating, they can both be customised to suit your needs and they both make excellent sex dolls, of course. 

Ultimately, customers are happy with both, but generally speaking- TPE dolls are less expensive and more commonly produced for it's ultra realistic flesh like properties, and so tend to be more popular. 

Storing your doll properly is essential to ensuring your new doll has a long and happy life.

• Avoid storing the doll in direct sunlight, this can cause damage and discolouration.
  
• Store the doll at room temperature, in a dry environment. 
  
• Avoid bathrooms/ garages or other storage areas that can become damp.
  
• Do not leave the doll on artificial or stained materials including leather sofas or dark jeans/ clothes for long periods.
  
• Keep the doll away from open flames. 
  
• Avoid leaving the doll in difficult positions for extended periods of time, the skin can become stretched and damaged and even split if not returned to a natural position after use.

When handling or moving your doll, be sure to follow general rules for moving heavy objects if it is a larger doll:

The dolls shown on the website have been professionally photographed in a well-lit photographic studio using makeup artists, fashion and hair stylists that all contribute to elevating their look somewhat. Just like real models, in real life photo shoots, this is the doll looking their best... but who knows, maybe you could make it look even better! We’ve seen it happen.

Your doll will generally arrive with slightly more natural semi-permanent make-up on and may have her hair out rather than in plats for example. Both of these you can easily upgrade or style yourself. 

There is a lot of great info online and on 'The Doll Forum' with make-up and styling tips so you can have fun experimenting. We recommend you do your research first on the best products to use to avoid staining, we don't endorse anyone in particular, but there are lots of great products out there. If makeup isn't your thing, it's really inexpensive and easy to buy an assortment of wigs to change your doll's style as quickly as you change your mood. Have a play around and experiment with a few different looks, it's incredible what a few small adjustments can do. 

What ever you do, have fun together! 

You sure will. All the photos shown in the photography are the same models/moulds designed by our manufacturer. If the head in the photo is Head 172, that is exactly the head you will receive, likewise with the body shape and so on. The moulds and materials used are EXACTLY the same, in the exact same workshop, by the exact same sculptors. 

Although you will not receive the exact same outfit (as these are just styled for the shoots) all of these looks are super easy to recreate at home with a little imagination and a little patience. 

Additional make-up or hair styling (like plats on long hair) are sometimes used for shoots, again, this is superficial and can be recreated or improved on at home. 

You will get a really good indication of your dolls look when you receive her images for approval that we send you from the workshop prior to shipment, and when you see that beautiful face in all her glory and know she's about to be shipped to you, it's one of the best feelings in the world. 

Your sex doll has a strong metal skeleton with several fixed and movable joints that allow her to be flexible and perform a wide range of poses. There are nuts and bolts inside the joints, foot, and leg holding your doll together. It is normal for your doll to have slight evidence of workmanship or minor marks at these points, it is not considered a defect and is very normal.

Please take care when carrying your doll and lift from either the waist vertically in a bear hug OR alternatively bend the doll into a V position on the bed and use the (Bridal hold) by lifting the side of the chest and thighs close to your body. 

Avoid dropping your doll, or knocking her against hard surfaces which could cause damage just like a real person.

Whilst our dolls do have enhanced wrists which can support their own weight. When you engage in sex from behind your sex doll, it's best to support your dolls torso beneath her with pillows or furniture eg bed or table. 

It's very rare that you will do skeletal damage but it's not unheard. There are "Plastic Surgeons" that specialise in the repair of sex dolls. In the rare and unfortunate event of you needing to use the services of a "Plastic Surgeon", give us a shout and we'll help you as much as possible. 

It will be packaged appropriately with lots of specifically designed padding. Our manufacturers have been sending Sex dolls around the world for many years, they have this down to a fine art. 

• Take care and be super careful if you use any sharp objects to cut the box open. You may be better off using small scissors or a key rather than a Stanley knife/scalpel style blade. 
• It’s ESSENTIAL to take a video or multiple photos (or both) of the exterior of the box BEFORE you unpack it. Especially if you see any signs of miss-handling or damage at all. 
• (Don't skip this step, if your doll is damaged and needs replacing, we'll ask for photo/ video evidence- This isn't necessarily for us, it's so we can show both the couriers and the manufacturers proof of neglect and compensate you appropriately). 
• Your doll will be carefully padded and wrapped in a blanket. Gently remove the packaging. You'll find her head will normally be at the base of her feet. Unwrap carefully taking care of her eyelashes. You may find it easiest to remove the soft blanket and roll the body gently onto the floor before standing. Always lift the doll from the waist/under arms where possible. 
• REMEMBER: Your doll has just had a long journey and needs to freshen up, so be patient, romance her a little and give her a luxurious bath......get to know each other before you dive right in!

These recommendations are specific to TPE dolls. Cleaning your sex doll is part and parcel of owning a sex doll, and should be done in a particular way.Start by removing any excess lubricant or body fluid with an alcohol free wet wipe or cloth. Remove the vaginal insert if applicable. Always remove the wig to start with and clean this separately. The insert can be washed in anti-bacterial warm soapy water in a sink and allowed to air dry thoroughly. For the full doll it's safest to lay him/her on towels in a neutral position on your bed. Use a mix of regular antibacterial soap and clean warm water (1:5 mix) gently spray and massage the doll's skin with your hands or wipe down with a clean soft sponge/microfibre cloth. (Just like you would clean a real person).You can shower or bathe your doll but it's not necessary and can be risky (and slippery!) see below. If you do shower/bathe your doll - Try not to let the neck or head become too wet. This is to prevent rusting on any of the metal components particularly if water gets inside to the "skeleton". You can cover the metal areas with a plastic bag if you find this easier. Mind the bolts in feet if you have them too. DO NOT spray a high pressure shower hose inside the doll as you risk water reaching the skeleton. Low trickle or use alternate methods like the irrigator provided or a squirting style, gym water bottle. Do not use abrasive soaps or any other general cleaning products.Do not use hard sponges or wire brushes as this will cause damage.It's easiest to stand your doll on a bath matt and allow to dry thoroughly.Do not put the doll near open fire or a radiator to dry.For full cleaning info with tips and tricks click here.

• To clean any of the openings, we recommend using a water irrigator to spray into the opening, allowing the water to run out of the opening.  You can use a shower-hose attachment if you prefer rather than the water irrigator provided but on a LOW gentle setting. 
  
• Alternatively, you can simply use a wet (soft) cloth to clean manually with tepid soapy water. Ensure you clean thoroughly, reaching all areas of the opening.
  
• You can also clean the openings while showering or bathing your doll using your hand or a soft sponge.
  
• Leave your doll standing/ hanging or lying face up so that the water can drip out after cleaning and drying fully. 
  
• With all methods of cleaning- leave your doll’s legs slightly open, so that the vagina and anus are open to the air, and can dry naturally. Don’t leave your doll's legs too far apart as this can cause damage at the seams over time.
  
• Once the doll is completely dry, apply a small amount of vaseline to the vagina and/or anus. 
  
• Do not use abrasive soaps or any other cleaning products.

The instructions below are for a thorough clean - for small areas you can just use a soft damp cloth or antibacterial wipes.

• Remove the head from the body.
  
• Remove the wig if possible.
  
• Apply warm antibacterial soapy water with a sponge or cotton cloth and gently massage the face.
  
• Pay close attention not to damage the eyes and eyelashes, avoid getting these areas wet.
  
• If you would like to remove the eyes prior to cleaning they are removable from the front by gently stretching the socket open ( up and down ie from eyebrow to cheek not nose to temple), taking care not to damage the eyelashes.
  
• Gently pat down the face with a dry non-abrasive cloth, allow to air dry naturally before re-attaching to the body.
  
• Do not submerge your dolls head in water at any point.
  
• Do not use abrasive soaps or any other cleaning products.
  
• Do not use harsh materials or hard/sharp objects.
  
• Do not apply too much pressure on the skin.
  
• Never use a hairdryer are any other heating device on your doll.
  
• Do not attempt to speed up drying by leaving near a radiator/ fire or any other heating device.

It's pretty easy! All you need is a comb, a full sink of cold water and a little detergent. 

• The wig should always be removed from the dolls head before cleaning. 
• It's best to give the wig a comb before cleaning starting at the ends first. 
• It's easiest to clean in a small hand basin or even a bath is great if the hair is quite long. 
• Fill the basin with COLD water and add a coin sized squirt of soap to make a mini "bubble bath" for the wig. 
• You need to USE COLD WATER or you risk losing the style eg curls. 
• Submerge the wig and agitate it gently then leave for approx 5mins to soak. 
• Drain the sink and rinse gently from top till the water runs clear - no bubbles. 
• We recommend combing the hair straight after cleaning, again from the bottom up. 
• Allow the wig to air dry on a wig stand or similar NOT ON HEAD. Any curls/style will bounce back. 
• Do not use hair products to style the hair, they may cause damage to the doll’s "skin" and face.

• Ensuring your doll has dried completely is really important to limit the chance of mould & bacteria forming. 
• Pat-dry gently with a clean soft cotton cloth and allow the skin to air-dry fully. 
• Do not rub the doll vigorously with a towel, use a ‘patting’ motion if using a towel to dry. Apply corn starch (powder) to your doll’s body once dry. 
• Do not apply powder while your doll is still wet. 
• Apply corn starch (powder) to the doll’s body after cleaning, this preserves the skin and prevents damage from friction. It also prevents the skin from feeling slightly "sticky. 
• Apply powder to your doll every two weeks, or at a minimum- monthly (depending on use). 
• Do not apply any other substances on the skin, such as perfumes.

On the rare and unfortunate occasion that you may cause a tear to the skin of your sex doll, don't panic. All is not lost. The damage is almost always repairable, but it needs to be done correctly to prevent further damage. Please get in touch with us and provide detailed photos so we can assist you. 

PLEASE DO NOT USE CRAZY GLUE OR SUPER GLUE - YOU WILL NEED SPECIAL TPE "GLUE”.

Here are our top tips to curb the clean up after you have fun with your sex doll.

• Use a male or female condom during sex to contain fluid.
  
• Purchase a doll with an "insert" vagina for easy cleaning.
  
• For a fixed vagina, an adaptable shower hose is great to clean all holes.
  
• When using powder or oil it's best to hang your doll first.

• Lay the doll in flat on it's back facing upwards, good idea to put a cloth under the hand in case of glue spillage.
  
• Align the (loose) fingernails that have fallen off with the bare fingernails without glue first. This is so you can work out which fingernail matches which finger.
  
• Once you have selected your fingernail, apply a thin and even layer of glue on the bare fingernail area on your dolls hand. Ensure the area is clean and dry first, free from any dirt or powder.
  
• Do not over apply the glue, aim for an even yet thin covering. Avoid applying too much, causing it to spill outside the nail area.
  
• Once aligned correctly, press and hold the nail on for 5 seconds – without touching any glue. 
  
• Excess glue is difficult to remove, so it’s best to avoid any spillages altogether. In the event of glue overspill, remove the glue immediately with a microfibre cloth and hot soapy water or an alcohol wipe. 
  
• To remove and change nails in future, gently and slowly pull off with a pair of tweezers away from the doll.
• You can buy nail glue and replacement nails on Amazon or at a local pharmacy or supermarket.

Tips for reattaching loose eyelashes.

• Lay your doll down flat, facing upwards.
  
• Apply a small amount of glue to a paperclip, pin, cocktail stick or any other household “tool” with a fine tip. We recommend a cocktail stick.
  
• Pull the eyelash gently back and apply glue to the back of the eyelash (not the doll) and allow to go "tacky" for a moment before pressing on. 
  
• Holding the ends of the eyelash and not touching the glue, press it carefully into the position you want it to stick. 
  
• Hold for 5 seconds and let go.
  
• Leave your dolls eye to dry for approx ten minutes. 

These recommendations are specific to TPE dolls. 

If your doll has been in one position for a while, it may have indentations or "creasing". 

Simply use a warm, wet towel/cloth sitting on the area for ten minutes and these will disappear. 

These recommendations are specific to TPE dolls. 

• TPE is very porous and darker colours or patterns may cause discolouration to your doll and can be difficult or even impossible to remove. 
  
• Most stains are caused by either dark clothing that is brand new or perhaps you may have put your dolls bottom on a newspaper or something similar. 
  
• Do not set the stain by adding heat (like a hot wash cloth).
• Please use a specific TPE stain remover like Indigo Stain remover. 
  
• In future -  take care to avoid stains by washing new dark clothes before dressing your doll and being extra careful where you place her.

Doll's eyes can be removed very easily for cleaning or to change them for a different colour. 

• Lay the doll in the neutral position. 
  
• Gently and carefully pull the eyelids apart (Up and down, not left and right) with one hand, without touching the eyelashes or make-up. 
  
• With the other hand, remove the eye and remove all the packing.
  
• “Scrunch” the packing tightly into the new eye socket. 
  
• With one hand, pull the eyes apart, without touching the eyelashes or make-up. 
  
• With the other hand, pop the new eye into the socket.

You'll have approximately 7-14 days to do this from the day you receive your tracking number, so plenty of time to re-arrange a suitable delivery date.

This will depend on the weight of the doll you buy. If you've gone for a big doll you may very well need assistance. 

You may have a delivery person that is kind enough to assist you, otherwise use your own discretion if you need to arrange help from a neighbour or friend in advance. 

Have fun making up a story about what is in the box.....an IKEA cupboard? A grandfather clock? 

We use major shipping companies like FedEx and UPS and these companies do not not deliver to a PO Box. 

They do offer special delivery options such as, “hold package for pickup”. 

Requesting “hold package for pickup”, the courier will hold your package at a nearby store or shipping hub for the order to be retrieved. 

Please visit FedEx or UPS to review delivery options BEFORE you place your order with us if you would like to have it held elsewhere for your collection. 

You will need to advise us of the address of the nearest hub in your  "notes to seller". 

We only use couriers that enable tracking because we understand how important it is to make sure there are no nasty surprises when dealing with such a sensitive item. 

The courier service we use is Fedex or UPS standard delivery which does not need to be signed for. This allows you the flexibility to request your package be left in a safe place if you cannot be home to take delivery.  We strongly advise that you personally contact them and/or sign up for an account when you receive your tracking number to ensure they know your delivery requirements directly from you. You can also register for email updates or phone updates. 

As part of our delivery process, if you give us your contact phone number during checkout, we pass your contact phone number onto the courier so the everything goes smoothly during the delivery process.
